More than 30 staff taken on in a year with the effective help of the Pole emploi agency

Human resource: what Mr. Stephane Quiniou has to say about the support he found for the business unit Tournier Bottu, in Trévoux ...

"We were based in the Rhône, and the company found itself going through a major phase of development. We had two objectives: to become proprietors and to double the size of our production site. We decided to move to a site at Trévoux, and we moved into our new premises in July 2005.

Of course, increasing the size of the production area necessitated increasing the workforce, and in the space of just one year we have gone from 34 to 72 employees. With the help of the ANPE at Trévoux, we have recruited more than 30 operators during this period, but also a number of training staff and qualified staff.

The ANPE has been extremely cooperative, establishing a pre-selection process for candidates in accordance with the profiles we provided. The only posts for which it was impossible to recruit through the ANPE were the qualified hosiery technician posts, and this was due to the fact that existing training programmes had ceased. For these posts, which are essential to our activity, we have established an internal training programme up to the level Bac and BTS Maintenance.

We have now reached the first landmark in terms of the maturity of our development. Our positive experience of these initial recruitments via the local ANPE has naturally encouraged us to pursue this collaboration for our future development... Which will undoubtedly take place over the next 18 months."
