The American company Enphase Energy chooses the Ain for its European development

The Californian company, Enphase Energy, which specializes in micro-invertors for photovoltaic installations is setting up its France and Benelux head-offices in the Ain in the Rhone-Alpes region.

The Ain, a national reference for deploying optic fibre cables.

In 2007, the Ain Inter-municipal energy and e-communication syndicate committed itself to deploying an optic fibre network called LIAin (Liaison Internet de l'Ain) with the objective of making high-speed broadband available to professionals and private individuals in all the municipalities in the department (an FTTH network: Fibre To The Home).
